Instructor Courses

NSSA  RYA Dinghy Instructor Training 2010
 
 
The Instructor Course will took place over three weekends in February/March  2010. Our next course will be in 2011.
 
Future candidates should be good technical, confident sailors, with good soft skills too.
 
The pre-entry assessment will take place prior to the course, probably in November 2010 and/or  January 2011. This will include elements such as tight circles, man overboard recovery,rudderless sailing, lee shore landing, and sailing a triangular course as efficiently as possible.It should be carried out in strong winds, Force 4 minimum.
 
Candidates also require Powerboat Level 2 and Basic First Aid, both of which can be arranged through NSSA.
 
Places on the course will be limited.  Dates and further details will be available in October, so register your  interest now.
