NSSA were delighted to welcome RYA President, HRH The Princess Royal to Filby on Thursday 24th January to officially open our new facilities. HRH met with groups of young sailors, NSSA Volunteers, supporters and our building team. We were joined by Hannah Cockle, RYA OnBoard Manager and Robbie Bell RYA East Manager. Dolly Maude, Lady in Waiting, sent a thank you on behalf of The Pricess Royal, remarking how impressed she was with the worthwhile work that NSSA delivers. An asset to the local community, there was special mention of the committment, enthusiasm and cameraderie of the volunteers. It was a truly special occasion.
